Catherine Anderson
You could say that writing is in Catherine Anderson’s genes. Some of her earliest memories are of her mother—an author herself—clicking away on an old typewriter. Before she knew her alphabet, she was creating stories for her dolls, and by the time she was a teenager, she was writing on notebooks, paper bags, and anything else she could scribble on. It was a compulsion that couldn’t be stopped, and years later, when she told Sid, her husband, that she wanted to give up a lucrative career as an accountant in order to become a writer, he didn’t blink. Instead, he bought her a typewriter. The rest is history, and several New York Times bestsellers later, including the classic Comanche Moon, she’s become one of today’s most beloved romance authors.
