Few Americans have heard all the powerful evidence that convinced a jury to convict Amanda Knox, a fresh-faced honor student from Seattle, of the sexual assault and brutal murder of her British roommate, Meredith Kercher, in Italy. Now Angel Face reveals what really went on in this incomprehensible crime. Barbie Latza Nadeau, a senior writer for the Daily Beast, paints an unforgettable portrait of the police investigation and the trials of Amanda Knox, Rudy Guede and Raffaele Sollecito. Nadeau also describes how the Knox family’s efforts to control media coverage distorted the facts, inflamed an American audience and painted an offensive, inaccurate picture of Italy’s justice system. An eye-opening account of a controversial case.

I couldn't read a page or two without falling asleep. It was all over the place & talking about things that didn't have anything to do with the case. Not worth your money & I forgot to check the number of pages which is only 224....pass this one up

The justice system in Italy allows the jury to read newspapers, watch TV , discuse the case with anyone. The lawyers don't even ask the jury pool questions. They randomly pick people . This jury already had their minds made up about Amanda. There was no evidence linking Amanda to the killing. If this had happened in the US, she never would have been convicted. They have the real killer ( Rudy Guede ) even he says Amanda was not involved. The prosecutor in this case if even under investigation for his own illegal actions. This girl has major grounds for an appeal. Her family is working on it and I wish them luck in getting her out.
