A Kindergarten Favorite!

When I taught kindergarten, this was a favorite every year! The colorful animals, the easy- to -"read" repetition, the wonderful Eric Carle. I purchased 2 copies for my grandbabies before they were even born! We read the book at gramma's house, and it will be a birthday gift when they turn 3 years.

My four year old memorizing this incredible classic just because of Eric Carle's wonderful's illustrations!!!! A childhood classic does it again!

This was my daughter's favorite book when she was around 2 years old. We read it so much, she had it memorized by 2 1/2!! Eric Carle is my favorite, so everyone at home LOVES this book.

Another book that I just love. I really don't remember too much about it as it being one of my favorites or anything. But I'm really starting to think that I just love the books by Eric Carle. The colors, pictures, and drawings he uses are so much fun. And they are even great for little children to see. The colors are very bright and pretty. Which means the book can even be loved by all ages.

My children are 3 and almost two, and they simply love this book! If they had to pick a favorite book, it would either be this one or "Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do you See?", also by Eric Carle. My son is 22 months and he probably enjoys it more than my 3-year-old daughter. He loves to name the animals and colors on each page, and the repetition makes it easy for my daughter to "read" to herself. I definitely recommend this (or any of this author's text) for very young children. You will get excited as you read to them simply because of how into it they will be!
