Bought this book after watching Rachel's show. Of all recipes used out of the book they have all turned out very well, helps to be a good cook too. :) Family has liked the meals made from this book also.

I love Rachael Ray's show, but have never purchased one of her books before this one. The recipes that I have tried so far have been very yummy, but not the most economical to make. For my family of 5 idon't usually spend $5.00 - $10.00 on a spice that I am not going to use daily. I also did not like that there were no calorie or other nutritin facts. The pictures were very beautiful and the prep times and directions were very accurate.

I see a lot of good reviews and I have to comment on this book. Everyone seems to go Gaga on a cookbook because it has pictures for all recipes. I grant you that the pictures look great and the instructions are written well on each recipe except for the ingredients which I would have to go out and buy on several several recipes things like fresh Mozzarella,Emmentaler cheese?,saffron,Gruyere cheese?,certain tamatoes, some spices listed, and the list goes on. A lot of fresh herbs which you can only hang on to these for so long until they go bad on you which are not cheap in the store. I have a pretty stocked pantry and the normal household would not be able to just make these recipes without going to store to buy a ingredient or 2. So that disappoints me big time. This is the 3rd book of hers I have been disappointed in. I would look at this in a store and read all the ingredients you need before I purchased this book.

Actually, a really great cookbook. Bought this for my son, and then he liked it so much I went and got another one for myself. Everything I've tried so far has been fabulous-- and simple to make. Rachel Ray at her best. Good photos, good clear directions.

This book came in the mail today and though I looked through it quickly, I can already tell this going to be one of my go-to cookbooks. Everything is all laid out for you complete with color photographs. I'm going to work on my grocery list tonight. Awesome!
