No one spins a tale like Debbie Macomber, and her Cedar Cove stories are fan favorites. Now the beloved author revisits the little seaside town in Washington where Bruce Peyton is heartsick over his pregnant wife’s departure. Rachel told him in no uncertain terms that she will no longer tolerate the strain in their household created by his 13-year-old daughter, Jolene. Bruce accepts the blame for spoiling Jolene after her mother died. And there’s no denying her jealousy of Rachel has caused the rift in their family. But all Bruce can think about right now is getting Rachel back. And ever since he learned she’s not with Teri Polgar or any of her other friends at the salon, he’s become frantic!
As Macomber’s yarn continues to unwind, we learn that Bruce isn’t the only one in Cedar Cove with a passel of worries. Hard as it is to imagine, Linc Wyse’s father-in-law is trying to destroy his business. And poor Charlotte Rhodes is becoming forgetful, a situation that is of great concern to her devoted family. How will it all end? The delightful 1105 Yakima Street is another sparkling jewel in Macomber’s Cedar Cove crown…and it’s filled with surprises.

This book is everything I expected it to be. Debbie Macomber is one of the best writers there is. She has a way of making you feel like her characters are living right next door or just down the street. This is one of the best series of books I have ever read.
