Susan Wiggs continues her popular series, the Lakeshore Chronicles, with a spellbinding tale of a young woman facing tough choices between desire and duty….
For years, two men pulled Daisy Bellamy in opposite directions. One, honorable and steady, she knew would provide her with every comfort a woman could want. But the other…. Wild and free, he was the kind of man women imagined in their dreams. The choice for Daisy was too difficult to make—until fate took the decision out of her hands, and left her heart broken in a thousand pieces.
Years later, Daisy has a thriving business on Willow Lake. Only on days when she lets down her guard does she think about the one thing she can never have, and the ache of longing becomes almost too much to bear. So what will Daisy do when the man she lost suddenly reappears, refusing to give up on the promise of once-in-a-lifetime love?
Marrying Daisy Bellamy can only be described as heart-stopping romance as once again Daisy is faced with the choice she thought was long behind her. This time, though, while the decision will be hers to make, Daisy has to consider what will be best for someone else she adores above all others…her little boy.

It really was a tangled mix of relationships. It seemed no good end could happen. This was enjoyable, and very engrossing. One of my favorite authors.

I just finished reading Marrying Daisy Bellamy, and completely enjoyed it. I felt the heartache Daisy goes through was real, and the book on the whole was better than the previous entry. I hope to see more of the Bellamys and their friends soon! At the same time, could Susan Wiggs possibly publish a book of the Willow Lake recipes sometimes featured in the series?

I liked this one. I thought it had more detail in the relationships, and basically shows how people grow with the one they love. It took them awhile to get together but they made it. I thought this was a very good reading for Daisy.
