According to Guinness World Records™, James Patterson has had more New York Times bestsellers than any other writer…ever. And now, “the man who can’t miss” (TIME) does it again. With co-author Richard DiLallo, Patterson presents an unforgettable story that uniquely captures the emotion, joy and true spirit of the Christmas holiday.
The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked and the packages are wrapped, but the biggest celebration this Christmas is Gaby Summerhill’s wedding. Since her husband died three years ago, Gaby’s four children have drifted apart, each consumed by the turbulence of their own lives. They haven’t celebrated Christmas together since their father’s death, but when Gaby announces that she’s getting married—and that the groom will remain a secret until the wedding day—she may finally be able to bring them home for the holidays.
And the wedding isn’t Gaby’s only surprise—she has one more gift for her children, one that could change all their lives forever. With deeply affecting characters and the emotional twists and turns of a James Patterson thriller, The Christmas Wedding is a fresh look at family and the magic of the season.

I stopped reading James Patterson years ago. In fact, I'm not sure he actually writes books anymore, for it's been a long time since the days of Jack and Jill, Along Came A Spider, and Kiss The Girls. Even so, this book is worse than those of these past few years where he has co-authored with another person. If it were me, I'd never have put my name on this piece of garbage. The book makes no sense, hasn't got the slightest touch of reality to it, and is a waste of money. I'm glad I received this book as a gift so I didn't have to beat myself up for having spent any money on it.

This book was terrible. I felt like it was really rushed and there was no point behind it at all. It was a very disappointing read.

Finished reading this book last week...never had time over the holidays. While entertaining at times, and the premise was interesting if you don't mind a selfish bride, it's not the usual caliber of James Patterson that I have enjoyed in the past. OK for light reading, but it won't stay in my permanent library...will be happy to pass this one on.

I have everything Mr. Patterson has written and this is the worst. Not worth the money - but worse than that - not worth the time I spent reading it.
VERY DISAPPOINTING!
Must blame his "co-author" !!! :(

It wasn't what I expected and frankly I thought it was dumb for the woman not to tell who she was marrying. It ended well, but as I said not what I expected.
