I loved this book hope she writes another one soon. It was a wonderful story but a little sad at what her decision cost her in a way. But a great book read it!!!!.

I have read a couple of VanLiere's Christmas books so I was prepared for a good read but this one far surpassed even those high expectations. This book stays with you, it's one of those types that you open the cover to read it and walk right into it. Memorable. Well worth your time to read it. A sequel & a movie? Oh my yes!

This book isn't usually the kind of book Donna VanLiere writes. Being from the South myself, I can identify with some of the setting she describes. Also I can relate to the characters in her book through the stories my mother told me about her life growing up in the South. This book is true to the Southern way of life in the 1950's. Also unfornuately the abuse she describes in her book is also real in that era. Your emotions will be all over the board as you read this book. I hope Donna VanLiere will write a sequel. You definately need to read "The Good Dream."
