Journalist Tom Sagan’s hard-hitting investigations won him accolades, awards—and then disgrace when one of his exposés proved to be a fraud. It didn’t matter that Tom was set up. He couldn’t prove it. But as he contemplates ending his messed-up life, realizing how few would care, fate intervenes. Zachariah Simon is a heartless fanatic who has something Tom would kill for—his estranged daughter, Alle. And Simon wants something only Tom can find: the lost secrets of Christopher Columbus.
Steve Berry’s The Columbus Affair is a pressure cooker. And the steam keeps building as Tom races from Florida to Vienna to Prague and beyond in a quest to free his child and reveal the stunning truth about a historic figure shrouded in mystery.

It took me a little while to get into the book, but then it took off and I could hardly put it down! I recommend this book.

Not up to the usual standards. A little drawn out with a low intensity of action. His other books stand head above.
