Interesting finale

I'm a big fan of Linda's novels--well-written and suspenseful. I guess the DSK-type plot left me a little cool, but I dealt with it. Some of the NYC/French tidbits were very interesting but I thought she stretched some of the links in her two stories. An OK read and I'll certainly buy her next book, which will hopefully be a little more credible. The ending is great (and the endings of many mysteries are more of after-thoughts).

There were parts of the book that were interesting, but just not that good. I like a book that keeps me reading constantly and not wanting to put down even for a second. I just didn't like the book.

I love anything she writes but this one seemed a little disconnected. Having 2 story lines is more difficult in a book than on t.v. Then add a mystery on 2 continents and you have added confustion.

GREAT READ WITH LOTS OF TWISTS

As usual I really loved this book. I, for one, do enjoy the history lessons regarding the areas for parts of New York and other places where crimes were committed. I am glad that she was in the DA's office defending woman who at times were persona non gratia just because of their career choices. I have read everyone of her books and will continue too.

Good mystery

The two mysteries in the book were good. The one with ties to the US and France were a little far fetched, with Alex connected. I find the character of Alexandra to be unrealistic. She's into EVERYTHING! The author could skip some of the history lessons, but I like the Final Jeopardy. I would recommend this book.
