Got the book for my 12 year of granddaughter because her dream is to be a DVM. I read the book and loved it. We both love animals a lot. I laughed a lot because at this time I can't see my 12 year beautiful granddaughter getting her hands that dirty.

Heartwarming!

This vet truly loves his patients. This is a charming book.. and thankfully, did not contain any of his more difficult and sad- ending cases, as I was afraid it might. Having animals myself, I just wanted to read happy endings..I deal with enough sad endings in real life. This was beautifully written, very funny in places and quite charming. I loved it.
