I selected this book for my father, 87 and with a bit of dementia. He's always been a fix-it guy so I thought he might like it. He can't concentrate too well but he'll sit and read this for a long while. I can't speak to its accuracy because I haven't read it, but my father enjoys it every day.

Advice on just about everything you can think of. This is a practical book and it contains lots of information. It is definitely worth it! Highly recommend.

I am very disappointed with this book. It's not as good as other Reader's Digest compilations that I've bought in the past. In fact, I disagree with some of what I read when I paged through it. There's only partial information about a variety of things, most of which is neither interesting or at all useful, and definitely not better than the internet. It's rare that I return books, but this one is going back.

The card security code is an added safeguard for your credit/debit card purchases. Depending on the type of card you use, it is either a three- or four-digit number printed on the back or front of your credit/debit card, separate from your credit/debit card number. To make shopping at Doubleday Book Club® even more secure, we require that you enter this number each time you make a credit/debit card purchase. Please note that your security code will not be stored with us even if you have saved your credit/debit card information.
