This book was boring and predictable.

I read this book after Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, and Deception Point and liked it just as much. I couldn't put it down!

"Digital Fortress" was reissued after "The Da Vinci Code" was a hit. It should have stayed a buried 1st effort. The plot revolves around people who are supposed to be unnaturally bright, but who can't coherently string two thoughts together. The writing is rambling and repetitious, of the "she didn't understand, she looked at him in confusion, her head was spinning, what was he talking about, her world was collapsing, she didn't understand" flavor. It is quite amateurish. That said, my opinion of this book does not take away from my enjoyment of his latter and MUCH better written books. (Though the writing in "Angels & Demons" is not as good as in Da Vinci Code - regardless of whether you appreciated the premise of the latter.)

It wasn't as suspenseful as Angels and Daemons or DaVinci Code, but it was a page turner and quick read as well!

I read this after Angel and Demons and The Da Vinci Code -- this was not as intricate of a story as those two books, but it definitely was a page turner. Overall, I found it entertaining.
