fun book

We love this book. It seems you spend all day telling a 2 year old and 4 year old. No, Don't, Stop! and It is a nice reminder that they are loved in spite of it. My 2 year old wants this book read over and over again and he laughs at all the bad things cause he knows they are no nos and he loves the last page and cuddles and snuggles with us when we get to it.

I do not have a child who misbehaves, so I thought this would be a story about consequences... I was wrong. It gave my good child bad ideas about how to misbehave, and there weren't any consequences for the badly behaved character in the book... the book more or less just says what he does that is bad behavior then the end... I was like "that's it??". Not a very well thought out book in my opinion. If you have a child that tends to act out, it might be a learning tool, ask your child what the character was doing was bad or good...etc.

Great easy read when you just have 2 minutes before bed!
October 03, 2009

We bought this years ago and my son still loves it when we are past his bed time. It is a quick fast "story" with crazy pictures. Some times in about 3 minutes, we can finish this and the sequel. When we bought it, he was about 3 and his best friend was "Davin," how he said "David." He would laugh and laugh.

1 year old is ADDICTED to this book
August 28, 2009

This is BY FAR my daughter's favorite book. She carries it to every grownup she meets in the house, and shoves it at them. She LOVES the pictures, and is absorbed, even after the 10th time you've read it in a 30 minute time span. I only wish they had a board book version, as we're already missing a page.

My 2 1/2 year old can "read" this....
March 19, 2009

My daughter loves this book, and after only a few times of hearing the story, she loves to "read" it to everyone else. She even shouts and acts out like i do when i read it. Its a simple book, with fun illustrations and a sweet ending. Lots of fun!
