Love It
November 07, 2009

I first read this book in grade school YEARS ago and loved it. I was very excited when I found out they were making a movie about it. The movie was good, but cannot even touch on to how great the book is. If you saw the movie read the book.

If you read the Last Battle, you would see that in Narnia, he is a lion but on earth he has another name. C. S. Lewis was a Christian and most all of his books had those themes.

Loved the movie but the books aren't captivating.

A classic well worth reading
February 08, 2008

I am reading through the entire series with my 9 year old daughter. We both enjoy them and look forward to reading together. This is the best known of all the books and is truly a classic. Some of the vocabulary is from a bygone age and so younger kids will need some to understand. Welll worth the time to read all the series.
