Didn't get to read this book until recently but "wow" it was worth it. I loved it. Dan Brown grabs you at the begtinning and doesn't let go until the end. His characters are well-developed and his plots are great. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery/thrillers.

This is Dan Brown's first book, and what a book! I have trouble getting started with many mystery novels because the character developement is draggingon. Once I started reading I could not put this book down. I have read all thwe other three boks by Dan Brown, each one having the same type of charcaters and a strong female role as well. "Digital Fortress" had a story line featuring cutting edge technology, and the same goes for "Deception Point". I am now readinghis fifth endeavor "Lost Symbol" enjoying it as well. He is a master of character developement.

Simply marvelous. I enjoyed this much more than DaVinci Code and look forward to reading The Lost Symbol.

I found The daVinci Code so convoluted and arcane that I simply could not enjoy it. In Angels and Demons, however, Brown has woven another symbol-driven chase into an absolutely riveting plot. Paradoxically, the ending, while fantastic, is actually the most believable part of the book.

Having read the first book Da Vinci code, this sequel is still fun and exciting. I understand the controversy with the books and peoples irrational fears of conspiracy and terroism, but this is well written, keeps you on edge and fun to read.
