This book really helped me pull it together when it comes to studying the bible. The format is awsome.

Every Christian should have this book!

How many times since childhood have I tried to live for God and read my Bible and pray like I was taught, only to fail after a few days because I got tangled up in the 'begats' and 'divers laws and ordinances' of the Old Testament! If only I would have had this book back then, I would have learned of God's love first rather than the 'do this, don't do that' stuff. It teaches you a sure method that will continue with you, for not only how to study, but what to look for when you are just reading the Word so that you get more out of it, even if it's just a short chapter. Love it! I wish I could buy one for everyone I know!

The title of this book caught my eye. As a recently returned Christian, I was looking for a plan to get in the habit of reading the Bible, and this book turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. This book provides a plan for the average reader to read through the entire bible in 3 years, without getting bogged down in the heavy stuff first. I now find it a joy to read scripture daily, instead of the task it used to be. He also includes worksheets the reader can use to keep a spiritual journal, as well as for several different ways to study elements of the Bible.

My Pastor informed me that the ESV Bible was good to read. In keyword I typed in ESV Study Bible and this is one of the Bibles recommended. He also said that the Bible has a code that allows you to get online as well. Does anyone know if this is that bible with the code?
