Dear Reader,
I have something important to confide in you. I think my husband, Dave, might be having an affair. I found an earring in his pocket, and it’s certainly not mine. I’m also worried because some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman—and Dave used to visit her a lot.
You see, he’s a pastor, and a good man. And I can’t believe he’s guilty of anything, but why won’t he tell me where he’s been when he comes home so late?

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great read. A little suspenseful, which was good. I love all her books in this series.

This was the first one of Debbie Macombers books I have read and I enjoyed it. I have ordered more from the Ceder Cove set. i hope they are as good as this one was.

I love reading her books.. no matter if you pick up the series w/ the first book or just w/this latest one you get to know the characters and don't feel you've missed out on other stories.. but if you have you are not made to feel she's repeating herself in order to catch up those who have not! I have to say I read this in a day and loved every minute! I look forward to all her books and how they link people together. Keem em coming!
