Despite being a born and bred Texan, Evelyn Dixon settles on the charming New England town of New Bern, Connecticut, as the perfect place to get over her failed marriage—and get on with her dream. Before long, Evelyn is the ecstatic new owner of Cobbled Court Quilts. But the hard part of starting a new life, she soon realizes, is building new relationships… Abigail Wynne, the town’s wealthiest patron, is none too pleased that her deceased sister’s troubled—and troublesome—teenage daughter, Liza, has moved in. Margot Matthews is an out-of-work career woman from New York, looking to broaden her horizons—which all four women do when, at Evelyn’s quilting event, they come together and discover the single thread that binds us all.

I have been trying to read different books and this surely is a feel good kinda book. I really enjoyed it. It was nice to read about different peoples lives that really are true to reality. If you are looking for something mellow and an easy (but want to keep reading) kind of book, this is it.

I've never read anything by this author and purchased it because Debbie Macomber recommended it. I LOVED IT. I will definitely read everything else she has written. This was a heartwarming story!

This book was wonderful. The story is very compelling. I did not want to put the book down. I felt like I was a part of the quilt circle. I was delighted to discover that Marie Bostwick has written a second book. I would recommend this book as a must read.

What a touching story. If given the time what changes can we make in our own life and others. Making the time and sharing a dream. Pressing forward! GREAT BOOK recommend to others and sharing my copy with friends.

This is a heartwarming story of the lives of 4 very different women who become "quilted" together through adversity. Despite all of their individual "baggage" they become friends. I loved their courage to let God take each of their brokenness and remake it into a beautiful tapestry as only He can do.
