Andrew Grant introduces a 21st-century James Bond in this gritty new action-adventure series.
A spy in Her Majesty’s employ, David Trevellyan knows that death and betrayal may be around every corner. He’s rudely reminded of this when, late one night as he’s walking to his Manhattan hotel, he’s arrested by police shortly after the discovery of a bullet-riddled corpse in an alleyway. The wily spy knows he’s been set up, but he isn’t worried…until the British Consulate fails to extricate him.
Forced to go on the run, with no idea who’s friend and who’s foe, David intends to catch the real killer and clear his name. Acting alone, he penetrates deep into a deadly international conspiracy, guided by his mantra: Don’t get mad—get even.

This is a great story and keeps your attention. I loaned it to a friend and he read it twice before giving it back. I look forward to another book by this author.

I really enjoyed this book and will look forward to reading future books from this author. The plot kept me guessing and unlike another reviewer, I did not find it boring at all.

Just when one is wondering if there will ever be another writers character that will keep you excited and guessing...along comes David Trevellyan, more shocking and risk-taking than you can imagine. Dont miss reading this book, its anything but boring. I cant wait for his next book.
