Romance doesn’t get any better than a dazzling new series from the incomparable Nora Roberts. In Vision in White, the first book in The Bride Quartet series, she takes us for a walk down the aisle with four lifelong friends and professional wedding planners convinced that in their personal lives they’re destined to be bridesmaids, never brides. Are they right? We hear the sound of church bells ringing…. The magnificent Brown estate in Connecticut is where Mackensie, Parker, Laurel and Emmeline run Vows, the premier wedding planning company for couples ready to tie the knot. Despite their expertise, though, none of these fabulous women has been particularly lucky in love. Strong, independent-minded Mac, the resident photographer, doesn’t even want a relationship, having learned from a selfish mother—who married and divorced more times than she can count—that love doesn’t last. But when slightly rumpled, yet oh-so-cute Carter Maguire, a former college professor turned high school English teacher, gets involved with his sister’s upcoming nuptials, Mac can’t get him out of her mind. Unfortunately, his girlfriend feels the same way—and she’s willing to play dirty for the chance to be a vision in white.

This book reminded me a lot of Nora Robert's Montana Sky. It kept you interested all the way through and had a fresh feel to her books. It had a great story of friendship, love, & surviving in the business world. I liked the characters and the story. Can't wait for the next three! I already bought Bed of Roses!

I just finished this and it was fantastic. I can't wait to see what she comes up with in the next 3 books.

I bought the book as an audio to listen to on my work commute, loved it and have already gotten the second in the series. Liked the characters and the story.

I loved the characters in this book, it just didn't feel like a NR book at all though. It was a little sloppier. I mean that in the fact that Nora usually uses a ton of imagery, but this was more about the relationship aspect. I thouroughly enjoyed and am due to receive the next one any day now. HAPPY READING!!
