I have five slow cooker cookbooks and this is the one I turn to time and again. Great directions, great flavors and great variety. Can't beat it.

The recipes in this book require more up front work than I was expecting. When I think of slow cooker I think of easy but these recipes are not super easy. I would have loved more soup recipes. So far, the ones I have tried from the book are really good - especially the loaded baked potato soup. Yummo!

This is, indeed, the best cookbook ever (for Slow Cooking). I have been frustrated for many years that crockpot recipes just didn't seem to appeal to me. It's a great appliance, but I don't get to use it often enough. All that will change now that I have this cookbook! As I look through it I am tagging page after page of recipes to make. If you don't have this, I recommend you get two of them, you will almost certainly want to give one to a friend! (I wonder if she has one for the Microwave?)
