Heat Seeker

Action, erotic romance and nerve-jangling suspense collide in Heat Seeker as club-favorite Lora Leigh brings us the story of a former Elite Ops captain with a dark past who meets his match in an ex-CIA beauty out for revenge.

Aussie hunk John Vincent is a dead man. That’s what the papers say, anyway, and that’s fine with him. After a lifetime of danger and violence, he just wants to be left in peace, but fate has something else in mind.…

Ex-CIA agent Bailey Serborne is still tormented by a past she can’t change and a man she hasn’t been able to forget—a man who was supposed to be dead. Now, a random meeting has revealed that John is alive. At long last, she has a second chance to heal her heart…and exact the sweetest revenge.

I have read all the books in this series and loved this one as much as the others! Can't wait to read Black Jack and any others she writes!

More Intrigue

I've read the 3 books in this series and enjoyed them all. I like the romance as well as the action in Mrs. Leighs books. I will continue reading more of her books.

Same story, different names
February 17, 2010

I have now read and reviewed all three books in this series, Wild Card, Maverick and Heat Seeker. I can definitively say it is not likely that I will read another Lora Leigh book. The only reason I read all three is because I made the mistake of buying them all at one time. Never one to waste money, I struggled through. Without going into detail, the story in Heat Seeker is terribly redundant of the story in Wild Card. Usually one to read three books per week, my husband is used to me talking about a story. I complained so much, so early in the book, he threatened to throw it away to spare me!
