Breaking the Rules

A young woman terrified by her encounter with a psychopath flees England for New York, where her exquisite beauty catches the eye of designer Jean-Louis Tremont. Soon after M, as she chooses to be known, becomes a modeling icon and experiences love at first sight with actor Larry Vaughan in a fairy tale romance that should be heading for happily ever after. But when your image appears on the cover of magazines all over the world, it stands to reason that before long someone with a razor-sharp axe to grind will take notice.

Breaking the Rules is a stunning tale of courage and revenge, love and passion, treachery and triumph that could only be told with the storytelling prowess of bestselling author Barbara Taylor Bradford.

Breaking the Rules, very good
March 23, 2010

I always enjoy Barbara Taylor Bradford, and this is no exception. Such a fun development to disclose the identity of "M". A fun concept. I love the tie-in to the Emma Harte characters. A great read.

Wonderful Book
March 06, 2010

I enjoyed reading this book, couldn't put it down. What a wonderful surprise to find out that M was a member of the Harte family. I loved the Emma Harte Saga and have read them more than once. I hope the story continues.

Great Twist
February 21, 2010

I really enjoyed this book and the surprising twist. I was about two or three pages before the reveal when I started to suspect who M really was - it was great to be proved right. Anyone who has enjoyed the previous books with some of the same characters will certainly enjoy this one. I had no idea when I bought the book that it would relate to previous books. It was like getting two books for the price of one. I recommend this book.

Enjoyed it
January 21, 2010

I didn't know when I ordered this book that it tied in to any of the author's previous novels. I didn't suspect the "reveal" so it was a pleasant surprise to see some of my favorite characters return. Great author, good story. I hope to see more in this series.
