An incurable romantic, Emmaline Grant has the perfect job as wedding florist at Vows, the company she runs with her three best friends, Mac, Parker and Laurel. Sultry and single Emma, however, has no clue that “the one” for her has been right under her nose! It’s not that Emma hasn’t noticed that Jack Cooke, who’s so close he’s practically family, is one sexy hunk. It’s just that she’s always thought of Jack like another sibling. But everything changes the night Emma’s car stalls on the side of the road and Jack comes to her rescue. The blistering, spur-of-the-moment kiss they share leaves them both thinking about the next level. But once they take it there, Jack’s commitment issues kick in…big time.
Emma’s enjoying their newfound love, but senses Jack’s discomfort when she offers to shop for groceries or leaves her things in his apartment. And why doesn’t he want her to have a key? Maybe he doesn’t share her feelings.
Will this irresistible couple, so clearly meant to be together, figure out how to trust what their hearts know to be true? From the beginning to end of the pure fun-to-read delight that is Bed of Roses, the incomparable Nora Roberts keeps us guessing.

I love Nora Roberts series..especially the witches. The first two books of this series were great. But with the character of Laurel..who has all this pent up desire/love for Del but projects it as hostility..I would think that it would be a harder situation for the both of them. I would expect them to have a harder time than Mac and Emma. This book just flew by and didn't have the grit that I expected. Nice story but I didn't find myself thinking about this book all day like I did the other books. I hope the last story leaves the reader frustrated, hopefully and full of anxiety. Parker shouldn't be so easy to fall in love..especially with her full schedule. And WHY do we have to wait til Nov for the next book. We KNOW its already written and waiting! I hate these games!

I like this series..Bed of Roses was a quick read, although it did get A little boring at times, but over all I liked it a lot and I look forward to Parker and Laurels stories!

I just bought the third book in the series. Really enjoyed this series. Have been a long time reader but took a break for a bit because so many of her novels follow the same plot line. I liked this series because it felt that this was a little out of the ordinary for Nora, and I really enjoyed the characters and the story.

I almost decided to pass this series up because it is about weddings. Sounded like too much fluff, but I'm glad I changed my mind. This is a light, fun series, perfect for escape (I'm a 50 year old working mom). Very sweet and well written and a lot of fun. Can't wait to read the entire series!

I have been a huge fan of Nora's for years, but this book in particular was not up to her usual standards. I enjoyed the first book in this series, but this book was very uninteresting. The characters were ok, but the plot was just plain boring. There was no excitement like many of her other books have. There were no plot twists or surprises which made for a very blah read. I hope the next one's better than this.
