I almost passed on this series. THE DARK TOWER books were some of the best work S. King has done to date and graphic novels inked by other authors, well, I didn't think they'd hold up. I tried one which led to another and so on. I'm pleased to say the series has made a fine addition to the original so far. I'd recommend 'em.
