I'm surprised at all the horrible reviews for this book. I love historical romances, be they western, scottish, regency, medieval, etc... I also enjoy every of love story from tame, to sweet, to erotic, and erotic is what this book should be categorized as. Emma Lang aka Beth Williamson writes passionate, hot love stories with some foul language and often coarse circumstances. If your not squeamish when it comes to the sexual content or offended by some of the language, its really quite good. Perfect for anyone who enjoys historical westerns with a little spice.

Love Historical Western--but NOT this.

I won't be buying anymore by this author. It is poorly written--disjointed and sketchy at best--and the author never seems to be sure what kind of book she is writing. Didn't like the first in this series and this one was just a bigger waste of money for me. With so many in the wings waiting to be published I can't imagine why they chose this. DON'T RECOMMEND--put your money towards a good historical western romance.

This book had a good plot and a nice story about family, but when they came together, it became a vulgar scene, almost pornagraphic. I won't continue the series.

Wish I could get a refund on this one. I didn't like the first book in this series but thought that maybe it was a fluke and this one would be better. Bad idea! I lost my time and my money. Will NEVER buy another. And I'm a big fan of historical western romance.
